Police Department

The Police Department is staffed by the Chief and two full-time officers and part-time officers.
The Clinton Police Departments Mission is to be with our citizens when they need us most.

We respond to every Rescue call and every Fire Department call.

That means we can be at your home quickly and initiate any emergency intervention that is needed before the Fire and Rescue personnel arrive and take over.

As with all police departments within the State of Maine, our officers are mandated to receive 20 hours of training every year to maintain their certification through the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. Mandated topics include: Firearms Training, New Law Updates and a review of the Department Policies to name a few.
