Snowmobiling in Clinton

Greetings Snowmobile Riders,

Another snowmobile season is upon us! Have fun riding and enjoying Clinton's 38.7 miles of trails. The Town and Country Trail Riders Snowmobile Club grooms with 4 X 4 tracked wheel groomer conversions; two Ford Ranger pickups and an Explorer SUV on these trails. A Polaris snowmobile unit grooms difficult rutted trail segments.

Yearly, various bridges are repaired with new decking and support beams. Trails are evaluated and moved by request of landowners and for rider safety. Please follow the trail signage and stay on the trail.

We are always looking for new members and help to upkeep, change, clean up, re-route, and take care of our local trails! Not yet a member? Please join us at our next meeting! We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7pm of each month September-April and would love to see new and familiar faces! Don’t want to attend meetings but would still like to support Clinton’s local club? Become a member! Attendance at meetings is not required. Location: 35 Club House Rd. off Mutton Lane Rd.

The Town and Country Trail Riders $25. family membership receive a Maine Snowmobile Association monthly newspaper. Landowners who give Town and Country Trailriders / Maine Snowmobile Association TRAIL PERMISSION are granted a no fault liability coverage protection free of charge. Snow trails conditions are found on the at www.mesnow.com Maine Snowmobile Assn.

Our clubhouse is newly remodeled! The clubhouse is available for rentals to any member in good standing! Rentals are $200. The rentals, membership dues and club suppers pay the administrative cost of running the club.

Please respect all land owners wishes while riding. Snowmobilers in Maine are the guests of landowners who allow access. It is every snowmobiler's responsibility to protect this access by following trail signage, staying on marked trails, maintaining safe speeds and staying to the right on all curves and hills. Please report unsafe trail crossings.
