Comprehensive Plan

The Town of Clinton had adopted a comprehensive plan, most recently revised in June of 2006. In 2019 the Board of Selectmen appointed a comprehensive planning committee for the purpose of updating and revising the 2006 plan.

The role of a comprehensive plan is serve as a guide for managing change within the community for the next ten to twenty years.  The plan is an expression of the community's vision of its future and it also provides the framework for future policy revisions.

The new Comprehensive Plan dated 2021 and updated by the Comprehensive Planning Committee has been found complete and consistent by the State of Maine on April 2, 2021. The current 2021 plan can be found here.

Questions about this plan should be directed to Frank Gioffre in the code enforcement office or Terry Knowles, Chairman of the Comprehensive Planning Committee.
